OK, so to the inventors out there, who are intrigued in constructing a brand to the consumer world needs a platform in developing there brand. Making something that can be profitable to consumers is a good craft, and developing it can take time. Once its developed, being able to put it on the market can be a task and I've looked at several websites trying to better inform inventors questions to ask when developing a brand for a product. You must be aware that making a brand name, logo or something that differentiate the product is key in its success...
I hope this link to a website can help:

Does Brand Matter with Food?
OK, so for all the college students I hope to hit home base with this blog entry.
Many food shoppers go to Wal-mart or your local grocery store with the attention usually to find food for the cheapest price. We all see things that we would rather by the store brand than the name brand, is there certain things that you would rather buy that's name brand or store product?
I know when I purchase drinking water at the store I don't mind getting the store product, its purified water. But certain things such as cereal or even snacks I have to get the name brand product. My reason being I can tell the taste difference in certain foods.
Does brand in food matter? I think so, with exceptions.
How do you guys feel on food products against store bought products. What separates your choice in decision? or does it even matter to some of you.

What Brand is better? Android v. Iphone
For several years cell phones has advanced in many different ways, and only time can tell in the future what were able to do using a cell phone.
Smart-phones are the new craze addiction now in the telephone world. It seems that the world can't function without them. As technology advances so do phones...Seriously, some phones are becoming personal computers such as; emails, Gps, Internet, even Microsoft & Photo shop... its almost impossible to not have or seen a smart phone and not crave for one.
Now that phones are advancing the competition is stiffer than ever. Its 2012 and the top phone brands on the market is the Iphone and Android each has technology and things that separates them from each other. Its no news flash that the Iphone is a Mac product and Mac are top in the technology world. But sales in Android phones are in the top of the cell phone market pushing the "Blackberry" product out of the picture. Now that Android and Iphone are the top phones in the market...which one is better? Interesting poles show Android phones on the top of many list....

Can you find other sites and polls to say different? Also, what makes a phone be a top to you? I'm interested to see what seperates the phones in the consumer world.
Things to think of is multimedia, battery charge, looks and design, overall how convenient it is.

Brand Reaction
So how long do you think it takes for a brand to sublimanlly place a positive image of themselves in your head? 1mn? 30 seconds? Guess again! Just 4 seconds!
Psycholigists Robert Zajonc where exposed two groups of non-Chinese-speaking subjects to a series of five Chinese ideographs; one group received five exposures to the symbols, while the other group just got one. In all cases, the exposures lasted only five milliseconds or less, too fast to be processed consciously. Then, Zajonc showed the subjects a larger group of images which included the original set as well as new ideographs and other symbols. The subjects were allowed to view the images for a full second, more than enough time to be conscious of seeing them, and asked how much they liked each one. The subjects who received five subliminal exposures to an ideograph liked it much better than the subjects who had seen it only once. (Oddly, the high exposure group generally rated other images as more likable and and were in a measurably happier mood, too.) The conclusion was that the presence of familiar things, even when we are unaware of the exposure, makes us feel better.
This basically means you can view an image for a second over and over again and associate positive feelings with it due to a sense of familiarity. You don't even have to be aware that you were exposed to the image! Hmmm makes you think, are things being flashed in commercials?

The next generation of human branding: Twitter
For those of us who aren't famous twitter was just another means of us communicating and expressing ourselves with friends. For the rich, famous, and powerful twitter meant one thing FREE PUBLICITY! Twitter brings so much attention to celebrities that they no longer have to sale stories to various magazines just to get some shine.
So what does this mean to the world of human branding? How has it impacted it? Well it depends on the celebrity and how good of a publicist they have. Some celebrities actually ruin their brand on twitter by going in on fans or partaking in silly rampages. Others boost their brands and use it as a platform to promote their latest projects.
Take Lady Gaga for example: twitter.com/ladygaga
She uses her twitter to promote charities, solidify her "bad girl" image, and of course state her originally outlandish opinions.
If you were a twitter crazed celeb how would your tweets affect your brand? Just a little something to ponder.....

Dad Jeans
When I first heard about the "Dad Jeans" slogan I couldn't stop laughing, the plain stitch blue jeans that middle aged men wear. The jeans itself symbolizes father, tired, DAD Lol. How and why does these jeans have a comical stereotype on them. Its almost seen as embarrassing to be worn by anyone who isn't a father. The jeans itself is a fashionable NO...NO...NO!! Have you seen these worn before?
What you think of the Jeans?

Red Carpet Showdown
Every year the Grammy's and the Oscars have a Red Carpet event, before the ceremony. Paparazzi and rapid camera flashes are going, and all the while the ceremony seems to shift from celebrating the event, and focusing on the outfits the celebrities wear. Women Celebrities seem to be the main focus, whats notably fashion, what is risky, and what is just AWFUL.
For years now the "E" channel and many more tabloids and tv stations have filmed a whats known as "Fashion Police" to celebrities and what they wear. Celebrities know they are being critiqued so there outfits are usually expensive and risky...anything from sexy, ugly, flamboyant, or just bizarre to say the least.
I guess its up to anyone to define what category of appeal the celebrities display in their wardrobe. Do you think they should be fashionably critiqued? I don't know, but i think of Lady Gaga and yeah i think her outfits are bizarre to say the least, but it also fits her public persona as well. Just creating more attention for herself. Does "attention" play a role in these celebrities choices in what they decide to wear? I think so.

Whats up with Reebok??
Ok so whats the deal with the sporting brand Reebok? Reebok has been around for several years and for a while was a lead sporting brand. For years the NFL has been a proud sponsor of the brand Reebok.
Just recently NFL jersey's such as the Denver Broncos and several others are releasing contracts withreebok and going with the ever most popular "NIKE" brand I wonder why??
Several major contracts have been done to several star athletes to represent Reebok, and its hanging on a thread compared to other major sporting brands, such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour.. Most recently is the new commercials with NFL star Chad Ochocinco who displays the "Boing" edition reeboks. This is a step in the direction to compete with the other top brands.
Do you guys feel like there is any hope for them? What do you think of Reebok shoes as a brand ?

Does the brand of a car represent the quality and cost?
Cars is big on brand Reputation. Reputation for cars are key to its success, some car names once you hear them you scream EXPENSIVE... is their some cars that have established their popularity through simply the name and brand of their car? How rare it is? How much it cost? ---How much does the brand influence cars success.
I wonder if different types of celebrities that represent a car make a difference to the consumer world?? hmmmm.... What do you think when you see certain brand of cars?

What Is It About Name Brand That Attracts Us.
Different Brands of products cultivate our world. Every year a new brand surfaces and captures the consumers. Clothing, Cars, Cell-Phones things as simple as the cereal you eat have a brand reputation. The name of the brand owns some type of reputation be it the quality or the value. The reputation of a brand is solidified by the name of the brand or what's being represented by the brand.
Seems as if new trends happen by the seasons. Is it the music artist? the models? or Magazine and tabloids that shape whats socially "Cool" or Sexy?
Hmmm....
What do you think?
