Different Brands of products cultivate our world. Every year a new brand surfaces and captures the consumers. Clothing, Cars, Cell-Phones things as simple as the cereal you eat have a brand reputation. The name of the brand owns some type of reputation be it the quality or the value. The reputation of a brand is solidified by the name of the brand or what's being represented by the brand.
Seems as if new trends happen by the seasons. Is it the music artist? the models? or Magazine and tabloids that shape whats socially "Cool" or Sexy?

We as an American society have been exposed to brands since we were young. These influences may have come through magazines, music, TV, etc. Ultimately, when it comes down to it, brands surround every aspect of our lives. Even if you do not listen to music or watch TV you're still being exposed; there are billboards, mail, and so many other things that allow us to be influenced into selecting certain products. Media shapes what's "socially cool or sexy" in any and every way they can. Think about it... you could be given a picture with nothing but the first letter of a brand, like the oakley "O", and know exactly what that represents. It starts when we are young. Ask a 5 year old to identify the "D" disney uses, and I would almost guarantee they would say disney. It's everywhere, and it starts when we are young!
